Background:

Michael-Ryan McCarty has been a licensed Realtor selling homes, land, investment and commercial real estate since 2001 in Colorado, as well as Vermont and Massachusetts.  Michael-Ryan was most recently the Managing Broker for McCarty Real Estate, a residential and commercial real estate firm specializing in homes, land and real estate development.

Experience and Education:

Michael-Ryan was a long-term top-producer with Keller Williams Front Range Properties in Boulder, as well as the Exclusive Listing Specialist for the Bernardi Group at Coldwell Banker in Boulder.  Michael-Ryan has taught real estate classes for Peak to Peak Real Estate School in Colorado for prospective real estate agents, and has mentored and trained many new real estate agents in the field.

Prior to real estate, Michael-Ryan was a business and sales consultant, most recently as co-founder and VP for VizQuest Ventures, LLC., a sales consulting organization designed to help technology companies develop revenue and forecasting models, and to increase sales and business development.

With ZEFER Corp., Michael-Ryan helped create Internet strategies, business solutions and financial models for Global 2000 and New Venture companies.  

Prior to ZEFER Corp., Michael-Ryan was with Arthur D. Little International in Caracas, Venezuela designing and implementing client Knowledge Base products, conducting market research and systems analysis for Global 1000 clients.

Michael-Ryan has also worked with The Vermont Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Protection handling consumer complaints, advising consumers of legal rights, mediating landlord and tenant disputes and resolving other consumer issues.

Michael-Ryan has a Bachelor of Science in Small Business Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of Vermont.

Activities and Involvements:

Michael-Ryan lives in Boulder where he spends his free time with his wife and son and enjoys hiking, skiing and mountain biking.  He also enjoys practicing on his fair Italian and Spanish from living abroad.  Michael-Ryan was most recently the Chair of the Realtor Political Action Committee and Associate Chair of the Education, Website and Membership Committees for the Central Vermont Board of Realtors.
